Apprenticeship Training is a structured program combining on-the-job training in industry with theoretical instruction, conducted under the The Punjab Apprenticeship Act, 2021.

Q2: Who manages the Apprenticeship Training program?

The program is administered by the Apprenticeship Training Section of TEVTA Punjab in accordance with Government of Punjab policies.

For Apprentices

Q3: Who can apply for apprenticeship training?

Pakistani nationals meeting the minimum age, education, and physical fitness requirements as defined under applicable apprenticeship rules may apply.

Q4: Is apprenticeship training paid?

Yes. Apprentices are entitled to receive a stipend as notified by the Government of Punjab or prescribed under applicable rules.

Q5: How can I apply for apprenticeship training?

Apprenticeship opportunities are primarily advertised by registered employers through:

  • National and local newspapers
  • Official social media pages and groups
  • Notices displayed at industrial establishments

Interested candidates should apply directly to the concerned employer. Once selected, the employer registers the apprentice and executes the Contract of Apprenticeship through the Apprenticeship Training Section of TEVTA Punjab.

Note: Applicants are advised to verify that the employer is registered with Apprenticeship Training Section, TEVTA Punjab before joining apprenticeship training.

Q6: Will I receive a certificate after completion?

Yes. Apprentices who successfully complete their training and assessment are awarded a TEVTA-recognized certificate.

Q7: Who can register as an employer?

Registered industrial, commercial, or service establishments with adequate facilities and qualified staff may register as employers.

Q8: What are the responsibilities of an employer?

  • Register establishment with TEVTA
  • Execute and register apprenticeship contracts
  • Provide training as per approved curriculum
  • Pay stipend to apprentices
  • Allow inspection by authorized officers

Q9: Is apprenticeship mandatory for industries?
